The following questions are helpful questions to ask dapp teams when one wants to better understand the product and evaluate the quality of the project.
- User flow
- Is there mental overhead?
- Is a wallet necessary?
- Do users need to understand token mechanics?
- How will the UX improve over time? (conveys ecosystem knowledge)
- Gameability
- What is your plan to deal with your mechanisms being heavily gamed?
- Governance
- What does the process look like for community stakeholders to make changes to the dapp?
- Are tokens needed to participate in governance?
- How tightly coupled are governance and upgrades?
- What upcoming governance decisions do you expect to happen in your dapp?
- Dissolution plan
- Most dapps will want to have a plan to turn the development over to their community -- how will you do this? Are you even okay with doing this?
