🌠 [Analysis] Techstars launches a blockchain accelerator to help companies like Embleema - Jessica Klein

Small consumer bases need blockchain solutions just as bad as big ones, if not more. Techstars, a technology seeding company, has launched a blockchain accelerator for companies with marginalized consumer bases. Embleema, for example, is putting medical records on the blockchain so patients can control and monetize their records. These records are typically managed by the medical industry and sold to big pharma at the expense of patients. Decentralizing and tokenizing medical records places the power back into the patients hands. Techstars interviewed firms from 48 countries, selecting ten projects for the program. The 13 week program will feature the industries best mentors who will teach participants how to add value and market products and services to small consumer bases.
