Wyoming's Blockchain Task Force rejected non-profit Uniform Law Commission's sample legislation in the harshest of terms due to its failure to adequately grasp the digital assets marketplace. The UCL's 'Model Act' provides a basis for state adoption of crypto-related legislation. In a letter, the Task Force criticized the non-profit's sole recognition of digital assets held by intermediaries as real virtual currency.
