The #LNtrustchain has been slowing down and many think kinks in the Lightning Network are to blame. According to Lightning developer Stadicus, more and more channels do not have enough 'incoming' liquidity to accept the torch as it grows larger. Some users have had to split the torch into multiple transactions or use third party systems like LN compatible custodial wallets. Creator of the #LNtrustchain, twitter user Hodlonaut, disagrees saying that other, non-technical issues are the cause of the slowing torch handoffs. Either way the trust chain is showing where areas of improvement are needed in a practical way.
