In a Twitter thread, CEO of Monax Casy Kuhlman notes how the current "Ethereum ($ETH) governance angst" is a natural progression for system disputes all the while maintaining his skepticism. Kuhlman compares current Ethereum disputes to his diplomatic experience wherein the ground work for how to dispute had to be laid before substantive discussions could begin. Blockchain politics are strongly dogmatic and willfully ignorant, failing to take into account the intersections of different studies. "I see blockchainers lending heavily towards the technocratic," Kulhman says, "without really adopting hard core engineering principles of expansive open source governance." Still, Ethereum won't fail because of tough conversations, but because nobody really knows what it is.
