An alleged cryptocurrency exit scam swindled $2.9 billion, but main suspects still on the run
PlusToken, a Chinese crypto wallet, could end up being the largest exit scam in history. According to software provider CipherTrace and Chinese officials as much as $2.9 billion could be missing as the manhunt for suspects continues. So far six suspects have been arrested but police claim to still be searching for the main operators of the alleged scam.
