🏦 A group of 30 global central securities depositories is exploring crypto custody
The International Securities Services Association (ISSA), a working group of central securities depositories (CSDs) in Europe and Asia, is researching infrastructure arrangements for digital asset custody. The ISSA has reached out to its North American and Australia counterparts, the The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) for input and is working with large European banks like BNY Mellon, HSBC, BNP Paribas, and Deutsche Bank.
