🇬🇧67 cryptocurrency companies probed by UK regulator
The UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) opened 67 inquiries into cryptocurrency projects as of Nov. 12th. To date, 49 inquiries have been closed with the FCA issuing 39 consumer warnings. Cryptocurrency transactions are not regulated in the UK, although specific cryptocurrency backed investment schemes often need approval from the FCA.
