Acurast is a decentralized compute network that enables developers to deploy and run applications on smartphones operated by third-party compute providers. Developers deploy code as “deployments” (with instructions, scheduling, and output configuration) via Acurast tooling, while providers supply compute by running the Acurast Processor app (Lite on iOS/Android; Core on dedicated Android devices). The Acurast Orchestrator matches deployments to available processor resources, and compute costs can be paid as network fees in ACU.
