💰 Smart contract platform DFINITY raises $102M from a16z crypto and Polychain
DFINITY announced that it has raised $102 million in funding, in a round jointly led by a16z crypto and Polychain Capital and joined by seven other funds. DFINITY claims to have now raised nearly $200 million, including through a $61 million fundraising round in Feb. 2018 which also saw Andreessen Horowitz and Polychain invest. The network is scheduled to launch later this year while its testnet is already in operation.
