Libra members consider quitting project due to government pressure
Several of Libra's early backers are considering withdrawing as a result of regulatory backlash over Facebook's proposed stablecoin. One of the founding partners stated:
"It's going to be difficult for partners who want to be in compliance [with their own regulators] to be out there supporting [Libra]”
This comes after news earlier in the week that Libra would be subject to investigation from EU's antitrust regulator.
