🕵️ Coinbase responds to its controversial acquisition of blockchain intelligence platform Neutrino

In a response sent to The Block by Coinbase on its recent Neutrino acquisition, Coinbase says it does not condone the past actions of Neutrino team members. Prior to founding Neutrino, many of the Neutrino executives worked for Hacking Team which sold spyware tools to governments. In the statement, Coinbase said, "it was important for Coinbase to bring this function in-house to fully control and protect our customers’ data and Neutrino’s technology was the best we encountered in the space to achieve this goal.”
